If you do not sign in

Everything Vibral needs in order to work — the shows you follow, your queue, your listening positions, your downloads and your settings — is stored on your device. None of it is sent to us, and there is no account for us to attach it to.

The app still contacts three kinds of address in normal use: the Podcast Index, to run a search; the podcast's own host, to fetch its feed and audio; and our own update service. Those requests carry no identifier of you beyond what any web request necessarily carries.

If you do sign in

You may sign in with Apple, with Google, with a passkey, or with a link sent to your email address. We store the identifier that method gives us, plus the data that has to be synced to be useful: your follows, your queue, your listening positions and your app settings.

We do not use any of it to build an advertising profile, we do not sell or rent it, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. Sign in with Apple's private relay is supported and we never see the underlying address if you use it.

What we deliberately do not collect

No advertising identifiers. No cross-app or cross-site tracking. No third-party analytics or ad SDKs in the playback path. No sale of data, in the ordinary meaning of the phrase or in the broader definition used by California law.

We do not report what you listen to back to podcasters as an individual. Shows see the same anonymous download requests they would see from any podcast app.

Diagnostics and crash reports

Crash reports are collected only where you have allowed the platform to send them, and are used solely to fix the crash. If you send feedback from inside the app, the message you write is accompanied by device model, OS version and app version — and nothing else.

The waitlist

If you give us your email address to be told when Vibral is released, we pass it to Resend, the service that sends the confirmation message and the release announcement. It is used for those two emails and nothing else, it is never sold or shared further, and every message carries a one-click unsubscribe. We do not hold your address anywhere until you confirm it by clicking the link we send.

Payments and Value for Value

Vibral never holds funds for you and never takes custody of a balance. When you support a show, the request is handed to a Lightning wallet you control and confirmed there. We do not receive your wallet credentials.

A record of sends you have made is kept on your device so you can see your own history. If you have connected a wallet through a third-party provider, that provider has its own policy and terms, which apply to your relationship with them.

The web player

The browser player stores your library, queue and position locally in your browser when you are signed out, and syncs them to your account when you are signed in. We use no advertising or analytics cookies. The only cookies or local storage in use are the ones required to keep you signed in and to remember your settings.

Your rights

You can export everything associated with your account as a file, and you can delete your account permanently. Both are available in the app and in the web player, where deletion lives at vibralapp.com/player/account/delete. Deleting removes the synced copy; anything stored only on your device or your browser stays there, and is removed when you delete the app or clear the site's data.

If you are in the EEA, the UK, California or another jurisdiction with statutory data rights, those rights apply and the same address serves them. We will not ask you to prove a legal basis before helping you.

Children

Vibral is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Podcast content itself comes from third parties and is not rated or moderated by us.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or how it is used, we will say so in the app before the change takes effect, rather than only updating the date at the top of this page.

Terms

What Vibral is

Vibral is a podcast player published by HarpElle LLC. It finds, plays and organizes podcasts that other people publish. It is provided free of charge, with no advertising and no in-app purchase, and no feature is conditional on payment.

The content is not ours

Podcasts are published by their creators at addresses they control. We do not host, commission, edit, endorse or moderate them, and their copyright belongs to them. If you have a complaint about a podcast, the publisher and its host are the parties who can act on it — although we will help you find them.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure. You may delete your account at any time, from the app or from the web player. We may suspend an account that is being used to attack the service or to harm other people, and we will tell you why.

Supporting shows

When you send value to a podcast, you are sending it, through a wallet you control, to a destination the podcast published. HarpElle is not a party to that transfer, does not hold the funds at any point, and takes no fee from it.

Sends are generally irreversible once confirmed by your wallet, in the same way that handing someone cash is. Please check the amount before you confirm. If a show has published an incorrect destination, we cannot recover a send on your behalf.

Acceptable use

Do not use Vibral to break the law, to infringe someone's rights, or to attack the service or the feeds it reads. Do not attempt to redistribute the app as your own. Beyond that we have no interest in policing how you listen to podcasts.

Availability and change

Vibral is provided as it is. We work hard on reliability and we do not promise perfection, uninterrupted service, or that a third-party feed, index or wallet will always be reachable. Features may change as the app develops; where a change removes something you rely on, we will say so.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, HarpElle LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Vibral. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death, personal injury or fraud.

Governing law

HarpElle LLC is established in the State of Wisconsin, United States, at HarpElle LLC, 19000 Hi View Dr, Brookfield, WI 53045, USA, and these terms are governed by Wisconsin law.

Accessibility

What we build to

Vibral targets WCAG 2.2 AA as its baseline on the web, and the equivalent platform guidance on iOS and Android. Color contrast, touch target size, focus order and non-color state signals are treated as build requirements rather than as a final audit.

Screen readers

Every screen and section title is a real heading, so the VoiceOver and TalkBack headings rotor is usable everywhere. Overlays trap focus and return it to the control that opened them. Choose-one lists announce their position and selection. Status changes are announced rather than only shown.

Text size and motion

Text scales to the largest accessibility size without clipping or truncating, and no container holding text has a fixed height. Reduce Motion replaces sliding overlays with a cross-fade and stops decorative animation. Reduce Transparency replaces glass with a solid warm surface.

Color is never the only signal

Amber means active-or-current and green means on air, but neither is ever the sole indication of a state — there is always a word or a shape alongside it.

Where we know we fall short

Podcast content itself is outside our control: a show without a transcript cannot be read, and we cannot add one for them. What we can do is surface transcripts wherever they exist and make it easy to ask a show for one. On this website, complex interactive diagrams carry a text description; if one of them is not usable for you, please tell us and we will fix it rather than defend it.

Reporting a barrier

Write to info@vibralapp.com with the screen, the assistive technology and what happened. Accessibility defects are treated as functional defects, not as enhancement requests, and we will tell you when it is fixed.

Vibral is a product of HarpElle LLC. Contact info@vibralapp.com for any privacy, legal or accessibility request. We aim to answer within five working days.
