Listening

• A player that leads with the episode, with a tappable chapter row, a scrubber you can actually grab, and Smart Speed stated as one value rather than three separate controls.
• Speed from 0.5× to 3×, silence trimming, per-show overrides, and a sleep timer that ends at a time, at the end of the episode, or at the end of the chapter — fading out rather than cutting off.
• Vibral pauses for interruptions instead of ducking under them, because a lowered voice under a navigation prompt is a sentence you have to seek back for.

Your library

• Three filters — Unplayed, Downloads, Shows — and a single queue called Up Next, reorderable by dragging.
• Automatic downloads per show, over Wi-Fi only or Wi-Fi and cellular, with an episode limit that cleans up behind itself and tells you what it removed.
• OPML import, so your whole subscription list arrives from your old app at once.

What your feeds already carry

• Chapters as a real table of contents, with a "Now" marker, a row in the player, and titles on the lock screen.
• Transcripts that follow playback line by line, tappable to seek, and readable instead of the audio if you would rather read.
• Live shows with real times, soundbites, credited people, publisher recommendations, and per-episode artwork.

Everywhere else

• Home screen, lock screen and StandBy widgets on iOS; a resizable Glance widget on Android. One job: resume what you were listening to.
• Optional sync across iPhone, iPad, Android and the browser. Sign in with Apple, Google, a passkey, or a link sent to your email.

Supporting shows

• Value for Value support from inside the episode for shows that publish a payment destination. You choose the amount, your own wallet confirms it, and the show's published split routes it.
• Optional streaming support stated as one rate with a real-world cost, off unless you turn it on. Vibral never holds funds and takes no cut of yours.

Added

• Library, Up Next and Downloads, each at its own address, with a rail on a wide screen and a tab bar on a phone.
• Add an episode to Up Next from any list, and keep one for offline from its page. Both were built and neither had a button; now they do.
• Playback that keeps going as you move around — anywhere on the site. Read the help pages or the support page mid-episode and the audio does not stop.
• Podcast Index search — an open catalog, with no promoted results and no placement deals.
• Show and episode detail with chapters and a transcript that follows playback, and text you can read instead of listening to.
• Media keys, headset buttons and the operating system media popover, showing the current chapter title rather than just the episode name.
• Downloads that play with the network off, seeking included — which takes more than a cache on Apple browsers, and is the reason offline works properly here.
• Optional sync. Sign in with Apple, with Google, or with a link sent to your email, and your library follows you between the browser and the app.
• Export everything, or delete your account outright, from the browser — not only from the app. Deleting removes the synced copy and leaves what is in this browser alone.
• Value for Value support for shows that publish a payment destination, honoring the show's own split. Your wallet extension confirms it, or a QR code does. Offered on the show, on the episode, and in the player while it is playing.
• Shareable links to an episode, each one unfurling with that episode's own artwork and title.

Deliberately not included

• No account wall. If you never sign in, everything stays in your browser and still works.
• No cookie banner, because there is nothing to consent to — no advertising pixels, no session recording, no third-party analytics.
• No streaming support in the browser. Per-minute streaming needs a wallet connected all the time, which in a browser means holding a wallet secret in local storage — materially weaker than the app's. One-time support works here; streaming stays in the app.

Added

• A player bar on every page, in every state. Before you have played anything it offers one episode to try — chapters, transcript and Value for Value, on a real feed — so you can hear what Vibral does without an account, an install or a decision.
• A full player: artwork, a scrubber that knows where the chapters are, the transcript following the audio, and what is up next. Opening it no longer means leaving the page you were reading.
• A public page for shows, answering the question nobody has ever been able to answer — whether a particular podcast publishes transcripts, chapters or a value block.
• A page for what is on air right now.
• Share a moment from the browser, not only from the app.
• Filter a show's episodes as you type, and filter your library across shows, queue and downloads. Both read what your browser already holds, so the answer is immediate.
• Keep playing on top: a small window with the transport in it that stays above your other windows, where the browser supports one.

Changed

• The player and the rest of the site now carry the same navigation. Features, Open podcasting, Help and Support are reachable from every page, including a shared link opened on a phone — which previously offered no way to reach anything about Vibral at all.
• A shared link shows the moment it was shared at, and says what that episode publishes, before you press anything.
• Up Next starts with what you are listening to, marked as playing and never listed twice. Its drag handle reorders the queue for real — it has always looked like it should and never did.
• Every tag on the open podcasting page now says whether Vibral reads it in the app, in the browser, in both, or not yet. Three of them were claiming more than the code does.
• The Live badge lights only when a show is genuinely on air, rather than whenever a feed had ever carried a live item.

Added

• Share an episode at a moment from the app and the link opens at that second. On a phone with Vibral installed it opens the app there; anywhere else — including every Android phone until the Android app exists — it opens the same moment in the browser player, paused with the artwork until you tap.
• A guide to connecting a wallet at /help#wallet, written four ways because people arrive from four different places: never used bitcoin, hold an exchange account, already run a Lightning wallet, or want to hold their own keys.

Said plainly, because people were finding it out by failing

• Connecting a wallet costs nothing and the wallet starts empty. That is the expected first state, not a fault — only sending a first boost needs a balance.
• An exchange account cannot be connected to a podcast app at all. No exchange offers it. What an exchange is good for is funding the wallet that can.

Added

• An interactive map of everything a modern podcast feed can publish, with what each one means for you and what Vibral does with it — and a page of its own for each.
• A plain-language explanation of Value for Value, including exactly where the money goes and where it does not.
• This page.

Changed

• Help moved to /help and now covers the whole app; /support is about supporting the work rather than getting help.
• Privacy, terms and accessibility live together at /legal, rewritten to be readable.

What testers changed

• The player was rebuilt around the chapter row after testers kept missing that chapters existed at all.
• Downloads stopped silently deleting episodes; the app now tells you what it removed and why.
• The support flow lost a step, a confirmation screen and a great deal of language nobody needed.
