<podcast:person>
Who is actually on this episode
The person tag credits everyone involved in a show or an episode — host, co-host, guest, producer, engineer — each with a role, a photo and a link. It lets an app answer the question people actually have, which is "where else does this person appear?", instead of limiting search to show titles somebody happens to remember. It is also the groundwork for paying contributors properly, because a named person with a role is the thing a payment split can point at.
What you get as a listener
See hosts and guests with their photo and role, then find their other shows. Search by person, not just by show title.
What the show does
Credit each person with a role and a link. It is also what makes per-person payment splits meaningful.
