A value block is a payment address a show publishes in its own feed. It means an app can offer to send the show money without a card, a subscription, or a platform sitting in the middle taking a cut — you pick an amount, your own wallet confirms it, and it goes straight to the destination the show published. Amounts can be tiny, which is the point: it makes it reasonable to send the equivalent of a few cents for one good episode. You can attach a message, and hosts frequently read those on air.
