Everyone who worked on it gets their share automatically
A value split lists everyone who should be paid when a listener supports an episode, and what share each of them gets. The listener sends once; the host, co-host, editor, artist and guest each receive their published percentage automatically, without anybody having to raise an invoice. Splits can also be scoped to time, so a guest who appears only in the second half is paid for the second half. It is the part of the model that makes crediting people and paying people the same act rather than two separate chores.
